16 hours and a whole lot of miles later, Josie, Rhyme, and I are home from the NWA Championship at Camp Robinson in Conway, Arkansas. Proud to say that Rhyme placed 3rd in the Derby, her first time ever being handled off horseback (she was a little slow on the uptake, but figured it out!). Congratulations to Chuck and Diane Vater, Chip Glennon, and Doyle Depriest for Chief and Cannon's placements! Such fun braces to watch and run. A few days with great friends, great dogs, and grounds that I'm still in awe of are SO good for the soul.
Even in a pandemic, I have to admit, 2020 was a pretty great year. We welcomed 10 healthy puppies into the world and sent them to the most amazing homes a breeder could ask for, introduced Rhyme to our pack (White collar Girl), moved to a new home with plenty of space for the dogs and humans to run and a pond to swim in, visited our friends at Timberdoodle Weimaraners in Michigan a few (but never enough!) times, hunted in Minnesota and New York, and traveled to Ardmore, Oklahoma for the Weimaraner Club of America National Field Trial in December.
The slideshow in my mind includes long road trips (which I love!), blue skies, great friends, and great dogs. It really doesn't get any better.
And a few brags on our pups, because they made me so, so proud this year!

I was also fortunate enough to bring both Wyatt (Teal Boy) and Blair (Green Girl) from the Dash x Sally litter to the NFT in Ardmore, and handled them both in Field Futurity and Derby. Their people are Canadian, so only the pups were able to cross the border! Wyatt, who lives with co-breeder and friend April Mallon) took FIRST in the Field Futurity and Blair earned a JAM in the Derby! To top it off, we were joined by brother Huck (Orange Boy) and Wendy, who did a fantastic job in both the Futurity and Derby!
On Sunday March 15th, we welcomed TEN Panzer x Sally kids into the world! Sally was amazing, and delivered them all in just 3 1/2 hours. She's doing great, and is a wonderful mother, doting on the babies since they made their debut. She had 5 boys and 5 girls, and they're all healthy, thriving, and gaining weight daily! We're so in love with each and every one of them, they're already full of personality and somehow manage to get cuter by the day. We'll be adding pictures and video here and on Facebook and Instagram, the girls are: Purple, Green, Yellow, Grey, and Pink, and the boys are: Black, Royal Blue, Red, White, and Stripe.
They grow SO quickly, and have already changed so much at only 4 days old! I've taken 'class photos' of each of them, and will continue to update as they grow!
